Praises
- Chris gave his lecture on International Trade last week! Thank you for prying! He has another one scheduled for June. He has also been guest teaching at least once a week for various colleges. We have no word on whether or not he really will be compensated for the times he has taught, but we continue to rely on Father for our Daily Bread and that we focus on the relationships rather than the reward.
- Our health has improved and has remained stable for the most part this month!
- We have been eating more than once a day!
- Thankful for direct accountability with those back home during challenging moments.
Requests
- Last week, Becky was able to show the J film in her class to 210 students. Please ask Father to reveal Himself to these students as they continue to process what they saw, most of them for the first time. We are hoping for questions to answer and conversations to come out of the video.
- For Chris and Becky to continue to improve with language skills while learning characters. We have 3 weeks left of language class for the semester.
- We are ready for Father to deepen the relationships with have established with our “Friday Night Crew”. We ask that He will lead the way and speak to these friends as He reveals Himself.
- Ask Father to help us get good sleep at night. We have a difficult time shutting down and turning off our brain. We wake up many times feeling as if we had never gone to sleep in the first place.
- We are preparing for our first team to come while living here. They will be here the second week of June! Please ask Father to guide us in His plan for the visiting team members and to begin to prepare their hearts for what is coming.
Thailand Update:
- We have booked our trip to Thailand with Father’s guidance. We are trusting that the remaining funds will be provided by Him in His timing. We have airline tickets and a place to stay.
- We both have doctor’s appointments for physical exams as well as JE injections.
