The Joy From Teams

The last several weeks of the semester were spent back to back with various teams. Having teams join this side of the world is a crucial part to the work being done over here. They can reach a large number of students in the time they are here quicker than just the two of us can. Groups of students flock to them and relationships are formed quickly and deeply. We are able to follow up with these students and continue to pursue them when teams go back home. Our work here expands tenfold anytime a team is on this campus and not only are we revived and grateful, but we are also refreshed.

We were beyond blessed by the unique opportunity to spend time with a team of 4 girls and 2 guys from North Carolina. It was an honor to watch them spread the message on our campus. Each one of them passed out good books to students they connected with during their time here. We specifically pry for those students who received a good book, that they may dive into His Word and that Father will reveal Himself to them in a powerful way. It was so much fun opening up our home for laundry, chicken spaghetti, and game nights with them. During this time, two friends from back home also came over for several weeks and continued to build relationships with these students. It was such a treat to see friends whom we’ve known for a long time!

The 10-day team came and everyone did an awesome job doing life on campus and taking every opportunity they had to share the good news. We are always thankful to have extra hands and feet join us on the field.
