It has been a challenge as we have been adjusting to cold weather. Our country draws a line between the north and south. Whoever lives below the line does not receive heat. We live below that line. Outdoor temperatures have been between 27-50 degrees F and our home has been in the 50’s at best. We are fortunate to have a small heater in our bedroom and a space heater for our living room. Our hearts ache for the students in the dorms because they are unable to have any type of space heater to stay warm.
We have been trying to have as many of them over as we can to help them feel warmer! Regular classroom attire consists of multiple layers, ski clothes, and gloves! Cold temperatures really affect morale. It is easier to be tempted to feel homesick when we are struggling to stay warm.
We have battled a lot of mold, leaks, and water problems this month. Brown water, cold water, and no water for that matter! We appreciate all of your pryers! They really do help as we press into the Father for His warmth and strength!
