If we could describe the month of December in only one word, we would exclaim JOY! In hard times, we press onward with the strength that only comes from the Father, which results in finding joy in each and every moment. If we do not see the joy in things, we are truly missing out.
As we were winding down the semester, we were able to use the Christmas season as a gateway to sharing the message with many students. Becky was able to show the movie about the birth of our Savior as well as the story about His life and purpose. 300 students were taught the true meaning of Christmas. The student reactions were overwhelming. We were shown evidence that the HS was moving in these classrooms as students began to weep and sob during the scene of crucifixion. Now we pry that He continues to move in the hearts of these students as He continues to reveal Himself.
Chris was a guest speaker the following week in Becky’s class and taught about the Reformation and the meanings/life applications of faith, grace, and forgiveness.
It is hard to believe that a full year of teaching has come and gone! We have enjoyed the opportunity to infiltrate the classrooms with the good news and we are hopeful for more opportunities in the spring!
